Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
— Hazrat Inayat Khan

Animal communication is a unique opportunity to speak with your animal friends and hear their responses - right from the dog's (or cat's or horse's or whale's) mouth!

I simply serve as a translator and sometimes a coach, helping humans and their animal friends work through behavioral challenges, transitions, and emotional issues. Your animal friends don't even have to be present to participate. In fact, other than in-person events such as those listed on my Where's Shannon page, most consultations take place over the phone. Learn more.

  • By popular request, animal communication class is back in session! Learn more and register on the Where’s Shannon page.
  • There are lots of fun events on the calendar. Learn more on the Where’s Shannon page.
  • There’s an animal communication party on Facebook, and you’re invited. Hop out to http://www.bit.ly/shannongrossFB
  • Less frequent but also fun: Animal communication tweets on Twitter: Shannon_Gross.
  • And be sure you sign up to receive ANIMAIL, my sometimes-monthly e-mail newsletter that gives you and up-close-and-personal view into the world of animals and animal communication.

Restore harmony (and sanity) to your household

To put it simply, our house was a war zone. Exaggerating? Maybe a bit, but at times it felt like that. Two years ago, our biggest cat, ironically named Peanut, started attacking our one-year-old cats, Bo and Rhapsody. He would chase and bite them, basically terrorizing them. And Peanut wouldn’t allow Liam inside the house, no matter how cold it was. Our whole house was miserable. Then we found Shannon.

She talked to the four cats and immediately things changed. Liam comes inside more often. Rhapsody no longer hides. Bo is now eating treats right beside Peanut on the kitchen counter. And Peanut is purring and playing more. But the best result so far came yesterday afternoon. Bo, Peanut and Rhapsody were sleeping on the bed together, along with their little brothers Josh and Nicholas.

Shannon, thank you for giving us back peace, harmony—and our sanity!
