Lots of people talk to animals.... Not very many listen, though.... That's the problem. — Benjamin Hoff, The Tao of Pooh
What is animal communication? Animal communication is just what it sounds like, communication between humans and animals. We all have the ability to communicate with other species but most humans’ skills in this area have atrophied.
How does it work? Communication is a bridge between all of life; and, each being has her own “native language.” Rather than relying on the spoken word, non-human animals communicate by transmitting sensory information such as pictures, sounds (including words), smells, physical sensations, tastes, and emotions.
By connecting my heart with your animal companion’s, I can receive the communication your animal is sending – and then translate it for you.
What is animal communication consultation like? At the beginning of a session, I’ll establish a connection with your animal friend(s). Then, you’ll ask questions of your animal companion and I’ll translate their answers. If your animal friend is having a health issue, I can also scan her body and let you know, from her perspective and from mine, what is going on.
Please note: While I can assist you and your veterinarian by sharing the information, including symptoms, your animal describes, I am not a veterinarian and cannot diagnose your animal companion.
What kinds of animals can you communicate with? It’s possible to communicate with any kind of animal. So far I have communicated with cats, dogs, horses, birds, llamas, elephants, goats, fish, whales and dolphins, guinea pigs, snakes and wolves - and the list continues to grow!
How is an animal communication consultation helpful? My primary goal is always to help you and your animal companion come to a higher place of understanding. It’s amazing how much more meaningful and peaceful our relationships become once we understand what our companions are saying and where they’re coming from.
In addition, a consultation can help in a variety of areas: health, household harmony, behavior, physical transition, your animal’s purpose in being with you, and even personal (human) life challenges.
Important note: If you or your animal companion are sick or injured, you should always consult a qualified physician or veterinarian, preferably a holistic one.
How do you work with people who don’t live near you? Occasionally consultations are held in person, but generally I work with by phone. No you don’t have to put the phone up to your horse’s ear. (People ask!) Since I connect with your animal on an energetic level, it can be done from anywhere around the world.
How do you know you understand what my animal friend is saying? In addition to feeling the connection and communication, human caretakers validate my findings and animal frequently adjust their behavior as we agreed during the consultation.
How long is a session? Unless you are at a special event, I recommend a minimum of 30 minutes for one animal. If you have several questions or issues to work through, I suggest scheduling an hour-long consultation. If you’re not sure how long you’d like to talk, we may be able to set an open-ended time and can continue the consultation until you and your animal feel complete.
How many animals can I communicate with in one consultation? Every animal is different and some have more to say than others. If you only have a few questions for each animal, you can speak with four to five animals in an hour. But most people, especially if you’re calling to work through something with your animal, enjoy having the freedom to have a deep, connected conversation rather than a shorter, surface-level conversation. And that takes time!
How can I get the most out of our consultation? First and foremost, know that your animal companion is an intelligent, loving, spiritual being with a purpose and life path of her own. The sooner you understand this, the more you can learn from her.
Then, let your animal companion know the two (or more) of you will be speaking with someone and that it will be fun.
Prepare a list of any questions or topics you want to cover – just so you don’t forget.
Have paper and a pen available so you can take notes.
And, last but most important, be prepared to listen to and learn from your animal friend.
How much does an animal communication consultation cost? The fees for distance consultations (by phone) are as follows. The preparation time I invest prior to any telephone animal consultation and energywork is already built into the cost.
15 minutes: $30 USD
30 minutes: $50
45 minutes: $70
60 minutes: $90
75 minutes: $110
90 minutes: $125
105 minutes: $140
120 minutes: $155
I occasionally offer in-person consultations at select events and locations. These consults are priced higher to cover travel costs and vendor fees. How do I set up an animal communication consultation? Click to Schedule an Appointment. We’ll determine the length of the consultation and the best day and time for the consultation. Then you’ll call me at the appointed time.

It’s no surprise that humans and animals have survived for thousands of years. Our bodies were made to heal! Sometimes we just need to get out of the way and allow them to do their work. Energywork facilitates this process by optimizing your body’s healing abilities.
While I began my career in the healing arts by offering energywork to humans, my focus is now on animals and helping them come back into balance. Animals are much more conscious of energy than we humans are and, as a result, they seem to be able to accept and work with energy more effectively. In contrast to humans, animals can absorb all the healing energy they need in a very short period of time!
What is energywork? Energywork encompasses many modalities which are often used together to form a comprehensive technique. They may or may not involve physical touch, but they all facilitate the body’s own healing response.
How is energy involved? Energywork, also called energy medicine, vibrational medicine and spiritual healing, recognizes energy – which is within and around all beings – as a vital, living, moving force.
As an energy practitioner, I serve as a channel so that higher energy can come in and balance your energetic field.
What types of modalities do you offer? Rather than following a set protocol, I tune into the intelligence of each individual’s body and energy field and allow it to guide me. In addition to my own personal healing modality, I incorporate many different practices and techniques, some of which include:
Access Energy
Magnified Healing
Angel Therapy
Melchizedek Healing Method (Australia)
Coning Sessions (based on MAP, the Medical Assistance Program)
Order of Melchizedek Healing (U.S.)
Crystal Healing (Melody Crystalology)
Pilgrimage Process
Emotional Release Therapy
Quantum Touch
Essential Oils
Raindrop Technique
Flower Essences
Reconnective Healing
Healing Touch for Animals, Komitor Method
Reiki
What is a typical session like? Since sessions are based upon your individual energy field, they’re always different. Generally though, once your animal friend has indicated she would appreciate some energywork, I begin opening any blocked, compressed or congested areas in her body. Once these areas are open, I’ll facilitate the flow of energy into her body so it can begin to heal itself.
How can energywork help my animal companion? Energywork promotes deep relaxation, balances energy fields, increases blood and lymphatic circulation, realigns muscles and bones, reduces pain and stiffness, soothes injured muscles, and releases chronic patterns of muscular tension. It also addresses emotional and mental disorders.
Who can benefit from this? Anyone with a body – humans and animals alike – can benefit from energywork!
Important note: If you or your animal companion are sick or injured, you should always be examined by a qualified physician or veterinarian.
How long is an energywork session? Every body and every situation is different, so the duration of an energywork session varies. In addition, everyone responds differently to energywork. Some animals zip right through it and others ask me, “Oh, can you work on this area over here next? And this one too!”
I generally incorporate energywork into animal communication consultations, but you may also schedule energywork separately. Most animals can accomplish a great deal in 15 to 45 minutes. If you’re not certain of the amount of work you’d like to do, we may be able set an open-ended appointment time and can continue the session until your animal feels balanced.
How much does an energywork session cost? The rates for animal communication and energywork are the same. For more details about fees, scroll up the page to.
If your animal companion is sick or injured, you should always consult a qualified physician or veterinarian. While I can assist you and your veterinarian by sharing the information, including symptoms, your animal describes, I am not a veterinarian and do not diagnose, prescribe medication for, or perform surgery on your animal companion.
